Descending upon the remote, desert expanses of Jawbone Canyon was a logical extension of the Hop-Frog Kollectiv’s long running series, Dung Mummy. This bi-annual assembly was a gathering point for various branches of the Post-Asiatic movement.
For this performance, Sandor Finta delivered a vocal piece under the guise of his project Andorkappen, eventually melding into a 3 man tribal pounding and bursting into flames. Stir the dessert sand, echo in the canyons and singe the eyes and ears… This show was captured in 2009 by enthusiast Vanessa LeFevre.
